Hefei's integrated circuit industry started quite late, but in less than 10 years, it jumped from the edge of the industry to the first echelon. In the latest integrated circuit competitiveness table of Chinese cities, Hefei ranks sixth, leaving Chengdu, Xi 'an, Nanjing, Suzhou and so on behind.

At present, Mediatek Technology, Changxin Storage, Jinghecheng, Tongfu Microelectronics... Hefei has completed the whole industrial chain layout of integrated circuits from R & D design to wafer manufacturing, to packaging and testing, equipment and materials, and third-party service platforms, and is one of the few in the country

In the past 8 years, Hefei integrated circuit enterprises have sprung up like mushrooms. According to the statistics of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Hefei currently gathers more than 400 integrated circuit enterprises, gathering more than 25,000 employees, and the city's integrated circuit industry will achieve an output value of nearly 40 billion yuan in 2021.

Industrial regional layout

High-tech zone, economic development zone, new station high-tech zone, as an important carrier of Hefei integrated circuit industry, each has its own characteristics. The "14th Five-Year Plan" for the development of a new generation of information Technology in Hefei City clearly points out that Hefei integrated circuit industrial cluster was selected as the first batch of national strategic emerging industrial clusters, forming industrial clusters in high-tech zones (smart home appliances, automotive electronics), economic development zones (storage, equipment), and new station high-tech zones (display drive, materials).

It is one of the cities with the whole industrial chain of integrated circuits, and it is also one of the five strategic emerging industrial clusters of integrated circuits.
Hefei High-tech Zone has a number of design enterprises such as Mediatek, Qunlian, Duntai Technology, Siltron Electronics, Xinsi, Zhongying Electronics, Jefa Technology, Longxin, Cambrian, etc. Cultivate and introduce chip Acer micro installation, Anhui Dahua, Zhichang photoelectric and other special equipment enterprises.

The layout of the open area from the new memory manufacturing, to the upstream equipment, raw materials and downstream sealing, module and assembly of the whole industry chain, gathering Changxin storage, Tongfu micro electricity, Longxun Semiconductor, Konka Semiconductor, Xinruida, Teridda, Shanghai to pure, North China Chuang and other well-known enterprises.

The new station high-tech Zone focuses on the industrial development direction of "core screen vapor", attracting a number of key enterprises such as BOE, Jingheicheng, Vicinone, Jiangfeng Electronics, and micro Semiconductor to settle down, injecting impetus into the high-quality development of Hefei integrated circuit industry.

Industrial support policy

As early as 2013, the "Hefei Integrated Circuit Industry Development Plan (2013-2020)" was formulated and introduced, and it was first proposed to build Hefei into "China's Silicon Valley", which was even a step ahead of the "National Integrated Circuit Industry Development and Promotion Outline (2014)".

On June 8 this year, the "Hefei City to accelerate the development of integrated circuit Industry several policies" was issued, from the support of enterprise research and development innovation, support enterprise scale development, support industrial ecology and other aspects, put forward 13 specific measures to further accelerate the development of the city's integrated circuit industry, the construction of an important national integrated circuit strategic emerging industrial cluster.
Key industrial park

The integrated Circuit Industrial Park project is located at the southwest corner of Changning Avenue and Baiyan Bay Road, covering an area of 247 acres, with a total construction area of about 400,000 square meters and a total investment of about 1.6 billion yuan. The main construction of integrated circuit high-rise incubation center, multi-storey incubation center, multi-storey standardized factory, public service platform, dormitory, canteen and supporting facilities. The project is divided into two phases, of which the first phase has a total construction area of 78,000 square meters and a total investment of 283 million yuan. The total construction area of the second phase is 334,000 square meters, with a total investment of 1.8 billion yuan.

Xinqiao Integrated Circuit Science and Technology Park is located in Hefei Xinqiao Science and Technology Innovation Demonstration Zone to the west of Tianzhushan Avenue, south of Shuofang Road, covers an area of about 172 acres, construction area of about 161,000 square meters, will be fully completed and put into use in 2021. The park focuses on Changxin Storage, cultivating integrated circuit industry chain, introducing chip R&D and design, packaging and testing, equipment materials and third-party service projects, and building the whole integrated circuit industry chain system.
