2022/6/13     Viewed:

Recently, Professor Xu Jixian's team at the University of Science and Technology of China has made important progress in perovskite solar cells, creating a world record for the steady-state certification efficiency of large-area single-junction perovskite cells of 23.7%. It is included in the main Table 1 of Martin Green's Solar cell efficiency tables (Version 60), the authoritative ranking of World Records. The Martin Green efficiency table has a history of nearly 30 years, and its objectivity and honor are recognized by the international photovoltaic academic and industrial fields, representing the most cutting-edge technology dynamics in various segments of photovoltaic, and has important guiding significance. This listing represents a breakthrough in the research and development of photovoltaic technology.

This research is the latest achievement of Professor Jixian Xu's team in the continuous exploration of new perovskite single-junction and next-generation crystalline silicon-perovskite laminated batteries. This work was supported by the School of Chemistry and Materials Science, the Hefei National Research Center for Microscale Matter Science, the Carbon Neutral Research Institute, and the National Nature Foundation of China.
